Newest on Obama and Rezko

A house apparently is just one thing Rekzo helped Obama with.  It turns out that Edwin J. Gray the head of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board was coerced into calling off an investigation of Rezko by Obama and 4 other US Senators who had received campaign contributions from Rezko.

In addition to campaign contributions, Michelle Obama and her father had invested $359,100 in a Rezko shopping center in April 2006, a year before Obama met with the regulators. The Obamas sometimes accompanied by their daughters and baby-sitter, had made at least nine trips at Rezko’s expense, sometimes aboard his private jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Rezko’s opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay. Obama also did not pay Rezko for some of the trips.  It seems there is more to this Rezko thing than first appeared.  Any politician who would attempt to cheat the system in this way does not deserve to be President.

Navy–Hire this Blog

A study, written for U.S. Special Operations Command, suggested “clandestinely recruiting or hiring prominent bloggers.” This 2006 report for the Joint Special Operations University, “Blogs and Military Information Strategy,” offers a novel approach — co-opting bloggers, or even putting them on the payroll. “Hiring a block of bloggers to verbally attack a specific person or promote a specific message may be worth considering,” write the report’s co-authors, James Kinniburgh and Dororthy Denning.

I just want to let the US Navy know that I’m ready, willing, and able and I work cheap.  In the first place, I am very pro-navy and pro-America.   I won’t even eat baklava since the troubles with the Islamists began and I’d have no trouble attacking people for my country.  I am willing to work for a flat rate or by the letter.  Because I am so patriotic to begin with it’d be very hard for anybody to recognize that the fix was in.

Contact me and let’s talk.  I would relish the opportunity to serve my country through my blog.

Deaths in Iraq = 4 Cents

I was just reading the American Thinker Blog ( and I saw this amazing graphic.  If you made every thousand deaths worth one cent, the deaths in Iraq only add up to 4 cents.  Not to pricey at all if you compare that to the number of Americans who have killed themselves or killed others in the time since the war began.

However, there’s other news.    According to the University of Georgia, Iraqi war veterans were more than two times as likely as other people to committ suicide.  Other Americans kill themselves at a rate of 8.9 per 100,000, but Iraqi veterans go up to 20.8 per 100,000.  That makes the stack for suicides grow even bigger.

Of course you will never hear liberals mention this, but in many ways Iraq is probably the safest place for these people.  Sure its easy to complain about the 4,000 people who died, but why don’t we ever talk about the ones who didn’t.

Lieberman says McCain Closest to JFK

Joe Lieberman today blasted his old party as protectionist and isolationist on ABC’s This Week program.  He says that unlike the Clinton years, the current Democratic party is hyperpartisan.

Lieberman, who won re-election to the Senate as an independent after losing the 2006 Connecticut Democratic primary anti-war candidate Ned Lamont, still caucuses with Democrats. But he has endorsed Republican John McCain’s presidential bid, and said Sunday that among the three presidential candidates, McCain comes closest to reflecting the legacy of John F. Kennedy.

This makes sense as JFK and McCain are contemporaries.  McCain and JFK both grew up in the era before World War II and could relate to the tough times of the depression.  They  grew up in an era before television and could remember what it was like to walk miles to school in the snow and go to the movies on the street car and have ice cream afterwards for only a quarter.   They could remember thrilling to The Shadow or laughing at Amos and Andy on the radio.  These are experiences that younger candidates like Clinton and Obama could relate to.  More’s the pity.  Think of the ship of state as being a car…a very big car.  Who would you rather have behind the wheel and driving you into your future–Some young 50 or 60 year old in a hurry? or your kindly old grandpa?

When They Took Away Their Guns I Said Nothing

When I came upon David’s Right Way of Thinking earlier today I knew I had found a kindred spirit.  His blog David’s Right Way of Thinking ( is spot on in agreement with me on a whole host of issues, but I recently read about the troubles in England and I reallized, well I reallized that David was right.

David posted a list of the violent crimes from just one week in the UK:

Two women have been arrested after a female cyclist was stabbed to death in the Anfield area of Liverpool. The unidentified victim was riding a bicycle on Whitfield Road on Friday night when a car pulled up alongside her and an argument broke out.

A HAUL of shotguns, air weapons and other firearms that have been handed in to police were set to be destroyed in Edinburgh today. Around 800 weapons have been handed over to Lothian and Borders Police during an amnesty over the past six months.

Officers in a marked police car saw the 38-year-old man armed with a firearm walking towards a crowd of people in Harrow Road, Paddington, around 7:30pm on Wednesday. The man fled and was chased on foot by officers and arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery with a firearm. He is currently being held in custody at a central London police station.

Muslim leaders have condemned an attack on an Anglican clergyman calling the assault “cowardly and despicable”.  Canon Michael Ainsworth, 57, was beaten by youths described as Asian in the grounds of St George-in-the-East, Shadwell, east London, on 5 March.

A 35-YEAR-OLD man suffered serious head injuries after an attack at a petrol station on Wednesday night.  Police said they were treating the incident, at Sainsbury’s petrol station in Woodlands Road, Glasgow, as attempted murder. The man was said to be in a serious condition at the Southern General Hospital.

Three teenagers who left a 16-year-old boy minutes from death and broke a 15-year-old’s cheekbone in what a judge called an “insatiable desire to inflict injury” have been jailed indefinitely. The three youths were 15 when they spent an afternoon hunting victims in Boston, Lincolnshire. They set about the 16-year-old with such savagery that he was left for dead, having fits on the ground and with blood spilling from his mouth.

Could you imagine if the United States had a crime blotter like that for just 7 days?  The liberals in this country would be outraged and running around with their hands up in the air like they are for this ridiculous Earth Hour.  To quote David:

Gun control laws are considered the solution but don’t address the problem – the violence and crime. While it is easier to kill with a gun, UK is considering a knife registry and ban on samurai swords. Why? Because the reason for crime and violence has not been addressed. “

So what would happen in this country after they take away our right to bear arms? I don’t know, but I think it would go a little something like this:

First they came for the guns and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a gun owner.
And then they came for the Samurai Swords and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a sword owner.
And then they came for the ballistas and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t have a ballista.
And then they came for my machete…And there was nobody left to take up arms to stop them.

Don’t think that gun control doesn’t affect you because you don’t have a gun–it does.

The Kids Are Alright

Just when I think that there is no hope for the future and that all college kids care about is the next kegger, along comes a story that shows you the spirit of free enterprise and entrepeneurship is alive and well.

House sleuth Henry Waxman (D-CA) wants 22 year-old AEY President Efraim Diveroli, his 25 year-old VP (and masseur) David Packouz, and the company’s general manager, also 25, to testify before Congress about how they managed to get a $300 million U.S. contract to supply (sometimes forty year-old) ammunition to the Afghan Army, among other contracts. Waxman also wants officials from the Department of Defense and Department of State to appear as well.

If Bill Murray was a bit younger he’d be the perfect guy to play Diveroli.  This would be an awesome premise for a movie.  Keep in mind that Diveroli took over this company when he was 19.  That takes some gumption. Now it seems the Afghans are a bit unhappy with the company who is their main weapons supplier.  Some of the ammo was manufactured in China and it was shipped in cardboard boxes, but isn’t this just the time when those crazy kids pull that big stunt to save the day and get the girl at the end of the movie.  Time to show Senator Wermer I mean Waxman just what you’re made of kids.

20 Students in Chicago Killed

I usually stay out of local politics because Chicago has a great mayor who is Democrat in name only.  However, they announced today that 20 students in the Chicago Public Schools have been shot and killed this year.

The liberal media naturally gravitated to blaming everything on guns.  To me this is like blaming beer for drunk driving.  Gun safety should be taught in the schools not ignored.  My question is what exactly are these teachers doing?  In my day we wouldn’t dare throw a spitball in class let alone kill somebody.  Are they in such a rush to get home at 2PM that they forget to mention to the classes “Hey don’t kill each other.”

I’m so disgusted by these teachers who allow this many students to be shot.  I blame the teacher’s unions.  The obvious answer is more charter schools and vouchers to let parents choose where to go to school.  Don’t blame the guns put the blame where it really belongs

The Audacity of Arrogance

Obama’s speech in Philadelphia has me thinking and what it has me thinking is “How dare he?”  He is totally detached from the world I live in and it shows.  If I remember it was Obama who was in trouble, but this is what Obama says in his speech:

“But for all those who scratched and clawed their way to get a piece of the American Dream, there were many who didn’t make it – those who were ultimately defeated, in one way or another, by discrimination. That legacy of defeat was passed on to future generations – those young men and increasingly young women who we see standing on street corners or languishing in our prisons, without hope or prospects for the future. Even for those blacks who did make it, questions of race, and racism, continue to define their worldview in fundamental ways. For the men and women of Reverend Wright’s generation, the memories of humiliation and doubt and fear have not gone away; nor has the anger and the bitterness of those years. That anger may not get expressed in public, in front of white co-workers or white friends. But it does find voice in the barbershop or around the kitchen table”

Sorry Barack, but I just don’t buy it.  I’m really supposed to believe that there is this resentment bubbling up in the African-American community towards white America.  I’m supposed to accept that there is some deep seeded feeling of being a victim of prejudice that African-Americans feel?  I’m sorry I don’t buy it.  Don’t try deflecting your problems by deflecting it towards all blacks.  You really think Condaleeza Rice feels that way?  I don’t.

“a similar anger exists within segments of the white community. Most working- and middle-class white Americans don’t feel that they have been particularly privileged by their race. Their experience is the immigrant experience – as far as they’re concerned, no one’s handed them anything, they’ve built it from scratch. They’ve worked hard all their lives, many times only to see their jobs shipped overseas or their pension dumped after a lifetime of labor. They are anxious about their futures, and feel their dreams slipping away; in an era of stagnant wages and global competition, opportunity comes to be seen as a zero sum game, in which your dreams come at my expense. So when they are told to bus their children to a school across town; when they hear that an African American is getting an advantage in landing a good job or a spot in a good college because of an injustice that they themselves never committed; when they’re told that their fears about crime in urban neighborhoods are somehow prejudiced, resentment builds over time.”

Oh puh-lease.  White people don’t feel this way.  We know that everybody is equal and we relish our black friends.  Nobody in the white community feels that way either.  There was a show about 20 years ago starring Bill Cosby about a family called the Huxtables.  They were true to their blackness and frequently had jazz musicians over to visit, but they were also very well asimilated into mainstream American culture.  That is what we can all aspire to.

Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard, oh lord, why dont we?
We all know that people are the same where ever we go
There is good and bad in evryone,
We learn to live, we learn to give
Each other what we need to survive together alive.

Poor Children Cause Poverty Part III

I owe readers of this blog an apology.  It seems that I accidentally printed some information from the Hitler Youth Handbook.  Some people had a little fun with me and I bought it.  In my article Poor Children Cause Poverty Part II ( I quoted some figures from German scientists.  These facts and figures were correct, but the German scientists were Nazis in 1930 Germany who were using the statistics to justify Hitler’s ideas.  The perpetrators of this hoax simply changed the currency from marks to euros.  I am embarrassed to have fallen for this, but I still believe there is some truth to the statistics.  I just didn’t want to imply that I was in favor of anything like the holocaust.  In fact my dad fought against the Germans in World War II or would have if he were a little older.

Obama Hamas Connection

What’s the difference between Obama and Hamas?  An O, a B, an H, and an S.  Even the words are similiar.  However, what I have encountered is far more sinister and gets to the heart of how Obama came out of nowhere to become the favorite for the nomination of one of the two major Presidential parties.

Let’s begin with one Antoin Rezko–a good friend of Hussein Obama and also get this a Syrian.  Obama’s people would like you to think that he’s a small time political insider, but if he’s so small-time how did he manage to co-chair a multimillion-dollar fund-raiser for the President in 2003.  You simply do not get that kind of access without clout.

According to Wikipedia “In November 2006, Obama drew media scrutiny when it came to light that in 2005, he had purchased his house on the South Side of Chicago for $300,000 below the asking price on the same day that Rezko’s wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for the full asking price.[11] The lots had originally been a single lot, but the previous owners decided to sell the land as two separate lots and, according to Obama, the owners required that the sale of both lots be closed on the same date.[12] Obama subsequently bought a 10 foot (3.0 m) wide strip of Rita’s property for $104,500, $60,000 above the assessed value.[11] According to Chicago Sun-Timescolumnist, Mark Brown, “Rezko definitely did Obama a favor by selling him the 10-foot strip of land, making his own parcel less attractive for development.”[13] Obama acknowledges that the exchange may have created the appearance of impropriety, and stated “I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it.”[12] On December 282006, Rita sold the property to a company owned by her husband’s former business attorney for $575,000, netting a profit of $54,500 prior to expenses and property taxes.[14] In October 2007, the new owners put the still vacant land up for sale again, this time for $1.5 million”

Are you following so far?  It appears that Obama is in hock to this Syrian for nearly $100,000.  Do you think that he just gives Obama that type of financial support out of the kindness of his heart?  Obviously, Rezko is going to want something for his $100,000 and for that kind of money he’s going to want something big.

What could it be that Rezko is going to ask of his good friend Barack for his money?  The answer is simple–Hamas is a terrorist organization that like Rezko has Syrian ties.  Could Rezko have been planning to leverage this small part of his lot for a much bigger chunk of real estate–say Israel?  If you connect the dots it makes perfect sense.  Obama gets an extra 1/6 of a lot to make his house more valuable and Hamas gets a Palestinian homeland.  Who would suspect such a thing?  Who indeed.

I know some of Hillary’s camp would love to point to this blog to show that Obama can’t be trusted.  I know that Democrats monitor this blog for that very reason.  However, Hillary has also received money from Rezko so she’s by no means clean in this either.
