McCain Commercial Snafu
John McCain released a new video on You Tube today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_A53PAxeR8 and it has me rethinking my support for him.
1. First he compares himself to two politicians:
Winston Churchill: He honestly couldn’t find an American here? What about Reagan. Sorry John, but I don’t go for this outsourcing your inspiration.
Theordore Roosevelt: He took on big business in a way that the country didn’t recover from for 40 years and it was his success as President that led to FDR making this a socialist country.
2. Imagery: There are all sorts of disconcerting space shots which have frequently been used by evolutionists to stand for their ridiculous theory. Ben Stein needs to educate Johnny Boy and quick.
3. Green: There are a lot of pictures of children in fields. I assume this is a nod to his credentials as a “Green” candidate. This country doesn’t need more environmental regulation right now.
So this commercial has me wondering if I still can support McCain. On the one hand I respect Bush’s endorsement, but do we really need a environmentalist evolutionist who is taking all his inspiration from Europe and the Roosevelts. I really expected better.
