Hillary Caught in Another Lie
In speaking to a crowd in Pittsburgh, Hillary Clinton grossly distorted John McCain’s policy on Iraq and as usual the left leaning media said nothing about it. Clinton said the Iraqis need to reallize that the “American troops cannot stay there contrary to my friend John McCain suggesting they’d be there 100-150 years. No they’re going to start coming home if I am President.”
Let’s ignore the obvious cutting and running and look at what John McCain actually said “Make it 100. We’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years or so. That’d be fine with me.” Excuse me, but there is a huge difference between saying we might be in Iraq for 100 years and Clinton throwing a ridiculous 150 year number out there. McCain’s point is we have to succeed in this war no matter how long it takes. Come on Hillary, its not that hard.
I disagree with the premise that we need to be in Iraq another day… but if you think Hillary is going to cut and run you are sorely mistaken. She is a member of the CFR as will be most of advisers and staff… they have no intention on leaving Iraq.
All this withdraw nonsense is just campaign rhetoric.

Hillary is a liberal. I don’t think she has any more stomach for a fight like this than Hussein does.

Her husband was a liberal… and he sure didn’t have any problems bombing and sending US troops all around the world.
I’m just saying… this all rhetoric on her part and Obama’s for that matter. This is a status-quo election… nothing will change.
I don’t even believe they are all that serious about the socialized healthcare program as well. Even if they were… they can’t afford to take the heat on the cost to the tax payer and the budget.

Excellent points James. I just couldn’t believe her audacity to make up that 150 years number like that and make McCain look like an idiot. I have to admit I was fuming when I posted that.
