McCain’s Daughter Part 2
“I know he’s not as sexy as Obama and interesting and young and fresh,” she said. “But I definitely still think he has an appeal. It’s not important to him [to be sexy]. I think Obama’s cute, so … I see why people are, just on a very superficial level, drawn to him.”
I was disturbed to read the above comments posted by Meghan McCain recently. As you may know from my last profile on her (http://thatsrightnate.wordpress.com/2008/03/10/the-truth-about-mccains-daughter/) Meghan McCain was introduced into the 2000 Republican Primaries when she was accused of being the illegitimate child of John McCain and an African-American woman. Nothing could be further from the truth. She was actually adopted from Bangladesh it turns out.
What disturbs me is her low opinion of her father. What ever happenned to the days when kids thought their parents were the sexiest people alive? She practically sounds like an Obama supporter. I think she’ll regret those comments when she gets older.
