Swift Boating
I’ve recently heard swift boating used as a verb yet again. In fact Obama bragged to 60 Minutes that he can’t be “swiftboated” so let me set a few things straight. What swiftboating means is when embarrassing, but true things are used to show a side of a candidate he’d rather not have seen. When coward Kerry got blasted for his lack of courage in Viet Name it certainly helped Bush who had served armirably.
If Hussein Obama and Clinton are so terrified about “swiftboating” then maybe they should look to the example of John McCain. Once he was attacked for selling out the United States to the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War by a precursor to the swift boat vets. When Coward Kerry was attacked by the swift boaters McCain condemmed the attacks. McCain has seen the light and admitted to his past misdeeds including betraying the US in the war. With that now behind him he’s able to move forward and not only that he’s received over $60,000 from swift boat donaters. If Clinton and Obama were smart they’d do the same thing. The swift boat veterans have proven themselves to be honorable patriots who can be reasoned with. McCain saw that, but his Dumocratic opponents are too stupid to do the same thing.
