In fact most chinese restaurants in the US serve american-chinese food – stuff I never see in Hong Kong. It is like that here in NY and in Chicago it is even worse (this is according to my fellow chinese on the ground in chicago).
American food is not more efficient, just more fattening. How many fat asses do you see in China?

Same with Italian. The Olive Garden is NOT REAL ITALIAN (though it’s closer than delivery pizza places).

I’m sorry, but I’m kind of a foodie, and calling Panda Express “authentic” is kind of insulting. It’s “authentic” in the sense that it’s authentic American food, just hamburgers, Chicago Deep Dish pizza and hot dogs at the ballpark.

Their new Beijing Beef is out of the world and I think you would find the taste very authentic. I’d love to try some of the places you mentioned. I live in Chicago which is a big city in America. We have a lot of Chinese restaurants, but I think Panda Express is the one I eat at most.
