Zen--Its funny that you mention Payday Loans. I have been thinking of expanding myself. Unfortunately, there is more regulation than you'd think. With business booming I may give it a try.

I think there's plenty of gumption like that in America today, Nate. Haven't you seen the cable commercials for Payday Lenders, just for one example? That's making a lemon out of lemonade. People who were short of funds from one paycheck to the next used to have to go to small time neighborhood loansharks for that kind of help - and it was illegal. And the interest they charge was considered to be usuary. Now that so many Americans are coming up short these businesses are now legit and I don't think there are any meaningful laws against usury anymore. That is the American dream, isn't it?

I very much enjoyed reading about the Peele family. I hope this will be a regular feature of the blog. It is important that we counter the Heather has two mommies crowd with examples of functioning, Christian, Republican family who abide by the laws and and worship the Lord. You mention your papist sister, do you have any other siblings and do they follow the fold?
