Some Quick Points
Going back to my article We’re Becoming a Nation of Losers ( http://thatsrightnate.wordpress.com/2008/05/02/were-becoming-a-nation-of-losers/) it seems to me that after the Philly branking her ankles at the Kentucky Derby and Danica Patrick running over somebody in pit row this week, it may be time for women to give up on this ridiculous notion of competing at sports with men.
Has anybody else noticed the difference between a Russian parade and an American Parade. We need to step it up and get some military hardware on display if we intend to compete in the future:
In my article God is Angry at Myanmar (http://thatsrightnate.wordpress.com/2008/05/08/god-is-angry-at-myanmar/) I pointed out the McCain’s spiritual advisers John Hagee and Jerry Falwell may not have been that far offbase when they claimed that 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina was God’s way of punishing us for sin. Yesterday a tornado ripped through North Carolina killing one after that state had voted of Barrack Hussein Obama in the Democrat primary and a 6.7 earthquake hit Guam where Obama just won as well. I don’t think that’s coincidence.
New York Republican Congressman Vito Fossella is under all sorts of pressure to resign after his drunk driving arrest and his admittal that he had a child out of wedlock. Since when have we been holding our congress to these standards? What would the loony left say about US Grant and Thomas Jefferson. At least the House Ethics committee has cleared Republican Congressman David Vitter of all charges related to his use of prostitutes in Washington after the DC Madam’s suicide.
The United States has enough nuclear weapons to completly destroy the earth over 300 times. The Soviet Union, we found out in 1991, had been going broke since the 50′s to put on a big show. It’s not what you parade that counts.

Thanks for pointing that out Clark. I know our military is better, but I’d just like it if we had tougher parades to get our kids more inspired for future military service.
