Yes Britney has come out very loudly as a Repuiblican. You can see the example above. Or check Youtube for her campaigning for Bush in 2004. Paris's mother and father have both given the full contribution allowable to the McCain campaign. I'm a big McCain fan, but it isn't right to attack the grand dames of our party like this. I want McCain to win in the Fall, but he must not damage our party to do it.

"I just wish they wouldn’t throw republican women like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton under the bus to get at Obama." These ladies are "republican women"?

I was wondering about the McCain ad, whether it was fair and cogent after my husband said that he thought bringing Spears and Hilton into the topic was "silly." And at first he had me persuaded.

And then I remembered all those many articles they had on Ms. Spears and Ms. Hilton on the "Huffington Post," that definitely "Left-wing" venue, one that has championed Senator Obama from way back when, that has loved him and promoted him over the former First Lady and that provided a direct link to his website and lots of opportunities to "click" to support his campaign.

Spears and Hilton are very much part of the Huff culture, and so now, far from thinking that the McCain ad was a nonsequitur, I think it's hit the nail on the head.

The issue is not whether Senator Obama is too popular to be president. It's whether he is qualified. Were he qualified, he would not need so much "popularity."
