Obama’s Attack on the American Dream
I was watching Neil Cavuto the other day and he had a really good point. By bashing McCain for not remembering how many houses he has, isn’t Obama really bashing the American dream? Afterall, isn’t that what this country was founded on? Countless of immigrants going through Ellis Island and the descendents of slaves and their owners all hoping that by the sweat of their brow or a fortunate second marriage that they could rise above their station and own a couple of nice homes with white picket fences?
By attacking McCain, Obama is really attacking all of us who ever aspired to something more–everybody who has ever worked on the weekend to get ahead, everybody who has ever taken work home with them, everybody who has ever signed up for computer dating at Millionare Match. All of those people had something in common and that thing is the American Dream.
For a man like John McCain, rising above his station wasn’t easy. His dad was already an admiral. John McCain’s dreams had to take him higher. His first wife was a model, but he wasn’t living a better life than his father until the day that his true love beer heiress Cindy Hensley. Now McCain is living the American dream, but there was a time when he was a POW. I sure don’t begrudge him his homes. However, many there may be. How dare you attack this brave POW and his American dream Mr. Obama. How dare you.
He should have retorted “better getting a home from a sugar momma than a slum lord”

That would have been effective except as I pointed out Obama didn’t even get a whole home from Rezko, merely 1/6 of a lot. Nothing is more pathetic than a man who sells out his country fro 1/6 of a lot. At least when McCain got involved with the whole Keating Five situation he got a shopping mall.

haha…Well Neil Cavuto
I suppose you were one of the talking heads that defended (veteran) John Kerry when he was criticized for his wife’s sizable fortune and when he was branded as an “elitist” , correct ?
haha…..haha…is the right really stupid enough to buy these talking points? (notice, i didn’t criticize mccain, because, oh god, he was a pow)

John Kerry’s wife wasn’t American. Therefore, how can it be the American dream?

so you’re saying that the american dream is to own seven houses and pollute the living shit out of the earth until she keels over and dies.
you have so many problems i can’t begin to describe them all.
maybe we should just forget about the less fortunate in the world because we’ve got it good.
“fuck them! they don’t affect me! i don’t even know what ‘poverty’ means!”
you really are an ignorant piece of shit, aren’t you?
