Congressman Kimble Reports on His Successful Town Hall

[I frankly had no ideas for what to write about today and by chance I noticed that Congressman Jack Kimble (R-CA) had reported on his succssful town hall today. As a service to our readers here it is. I'm sure I'll have my own article on something or another tomorrow]
I was a little worried when I hosted my town hall meeting on health care yesterday. I had heard a lot about the lunatic fringe who had been disrupting town halls and it made me very grateful I had hired several members of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang to provide security for the meeting.
The main point of my town hall was to explain to people that health care was too important a decision to be left to ACORN and illegal immigrants like it undoubtedly would be in the Obama plan. Furthermore, I wanted to let my constituents know that I was 100% against killing senior citizens so that we might harvest their organs regardless of what the Obama administration might or might not want. I let my people know that neither myself nor any Republican member of Congress I knew supported:
1. Euthanizing senior citizens in order to harvest their organs
2. Using tax payer money for cosmetic surgery for illegal aliens
3. Using health reform as a backdoor way to a socialist government or slavery reparations
4. Eliminating medicare in favor of hospice care for all Americans over 55
I think that really helped put the many seniors in the audience at ease. Of course, the crazies did come out in full force. When they’d get on mic they’d say things like “I can’t afford health care” or “I have a pre-existing condition” or “Why do we spend so much for a health care system that doesn’t work?” Fortunately, the Hell’s Angels were right on it–shutting them down before they could monopolize the discussion away from more important topics like how President Obama wanted to use this program to stop senior citizens from driving. My favorite was one crazy woman demanding to know what plans I had for covering her family. I told her my plan was for her to get a job. She didn’t even laugh at that.
I was most impressed with the patriotic fervor of the crowd. We said the Pledge of Allegiance 8 times and sang the Star Spangled Banner twice. Best of all, I wasn’t hung in effigy. I’m very lucky to be representing such a God fearing district and I look forward to serving them for years to come.
Congratulations Readers – 200,000 Hits!

March 7, 2008 – August 4th, 2009 – 200,000 Hits
You readers have done it. You’ve put me at the elusive 200,000 hit mark and I for one am grateful. With this accomplishment we leave behind the little blogs out there written by 20 somethings living in their parents’ basement. We have entered the world of people like Drudge, Google, and Amazon.com who like us can sometimes get over 1,000 hits in a day. I thank all 1/5 million of you and I will continue to do my best to entertain and educate as we stand up to the rising threat of the Democrats.
We must stand ever vigilant my friends as we boldly go forward into the future. I have increasingly come under attack by left wingers who seek to shut us up merely because we seek to shut them up.
Liberal talk show host Ed Schultz is currently using his little proxies to attack me on his show’s message board. They’re so quick to lash out at our anger instead of asking why are 40 year old upperclass white males without serious health issues so angry about health care? Just for once I wish people would try and deal with the societal issues that lead to upper class white male anger. If Mr. Schultz wants to feud, I’ve got two words for him – “Bring it!”
On a more positive note, Lola from Brazil has posted an article in Spanish about me again. I really wish she’d post in English because other than my fondness for cheese and the movies of George Wendt, I really couldn’t figure out what she was trying to say. She even quoted me as saying, “trazer todo um país estrangeiro ao meu blog – é um país minúsculo, mas ainda assim, um país”. Now I know I would have remembered saying that–just forming those sounds would probably sprain my tongue.
Thank you again for following me. All great men have throngs of followers and until I build up my own throng I refuse to recognize my own greatness. I am glad that you are here to be part of that throng and to reconize that greatness for me.
Democrats Must Compromise on Health Care
It must be very tempting for Democrats to look at their large numbers in congress and try to ram a health care reform bill through without compromise. I suggest that instead, they learn a lesson from Charles Darwin. Charles Darwin is a controversial figure whose theory of evolution struggles to gain acceptance over 100 years since he first discovered it. The reason why is that he refused to compromise.
Christians Believe:
- God created us out of his love
- The Earth is 6,000 years old
- The same plants and animals on this planet were always here
- The Earth was created in 7 days.
Darwinists Believe:
- The Earth was created by a big bang
- The Earth is 4,500,000,000 years old
- Plants and animals have evolved into their present form
- The Earth was created over many millions of years.
What if Darwin had compromised. Christians obviously would have been sticklers on the Earth being created by God, that it took 7 days, and that the Earth is 6,000 years old. However, the rest of creation would be open to discussion. If Darwin had compromised he would have had a much more successful theory of evolution that went something like this, “God created the Earth with love and a big bang. The Earth is 6,000 years ago. The first life on the planet were single celled organisms that evolved over the next 7 days into life as we know it.” This is a theory that I believe the entire country, including Texas, would have accepted.
The Democrats must learn this lesson and compromise on health care. I know it’s easy to see your own ideas as the best, but that sort of attitude will not bring you acceptance. Democrats want a public option for people to get their health insurance from the government. Republicans do not. Let’s compromise and create a public option, but make it so horrible that nobody would ever take it. Democrats want to limit the profits insurance companies make. Republicans do not. Let’s compromise and limit their profits to twice what their current profits are now. That way, they would never hit the limit.
The reason America was able to avoid Civil War for almost 100 years was because of forward thinking people adopting the 3/5 compromise and later the Missouri Compromise. Does the Democratic party have statesmen like this today? Compromise is the key to making health care policy that is acceptable to lobbyists on all sides. I hope that the Democrats learn this leason before they wind up in history’s where are they now file like Charles Darwin.
A Patriot’s Guide to Disrupting Health Care Townhalls

If only there had been a group to disrupt rallies in Germany that were against the country's values, Hitler may never have come to power.
I had a discussion the other day with a normally right thinking individual who was in favor of health care reform. He told me as a capitalist, he didn’t see why our country should pay considerably more for health care than other countries for a health care system that leaves us 42nd in life expectancy. I first tried to reason with him by explaining that other than the Pledge of Allegiance, there is nothing socialist about America. When that didn’t work I told him, “you know who else didn’t have socialized medicince?” He didn’t know what I meant by the question. I told him, “Jesus didn’t have socialized medicine either. Jesus never said to Lazarus I’d love to raise you from the dead, but that’d require extraordinary means. He never rationed health care by healing one eye on blind people.” I think my friend was convinced.
Obviously, a system that is against my country and Jesus is not a system that I will tolerate. I believe it is every patriot’s duty to stand up for what we believe in by making sure opposing viewpoints are not given a chance to be heard. The grass roots conservative Republican movement to take back this country is way ahead of me. Whether it’s been hanging Representative Frank Kratovil (D-MD) in effigy or harrassing Representative Tim Bishop (D-NY) enough that he needed a police escort to his car, we’ve managed to make our voice for freedom heard. The lobbying groups Freedomworks and Americans for Prosperity who organized the highly successful tea party protests have issued suggestions on the best ways to infiltrating town halls and harass Democratic members of Congress to show opposition to health care reform and clean energy. No less than Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX) has endorsed this strategy for letting our voices be heard and shutting up our opponents. Sessions said, “The days of civil town halls are over.”
Why is it so important that we make our presence known by disruption town halls? AHIP, the trade group and lobbying juggernaut representing the health insurance industry is sending staffers to monitor town halls and by being loud and boisterous we can make it appear as if there is even more opposition to health care than there is. Here are the basics of the strategy being laid up by Freedomworks and Americans for Prosperity:
1. Artificially Inflate Your Numbers: “Spread out in the hall and try to be in the front half. The objective is to put the Rep on the defensive with your questions and follow-up. The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.”
2. Be Disruptive Early And Often: “You need to rock-the-boat early in the Rep’s presentation, Watch for an opportunity to yell out and challenge the Rep’s statements early.”
3. Try To “Rattle Him,” Not Have An Intelligent Debate: “The goal is to rattle him, get him off his prepared script and agenda. If he says something outrageous, stand up and shout out and sit right back down. Look for these opportunities before he even takes questions.” (Thinkprogress.org)
These are obviously great ideas, but I have a few more in order to really make our push for our Constitutionally protected freedoms as effective as possible:
4. We obviously need some way to recognize each other in case we need to riot or something. However, we need a way that doesn’t automatically tip off to our opponents that we are hear to disrupt their meetings. I think if we all wear brown shirts, it’ll be subtle enough not to be noticed by security and is a distinct enough color that it should be a give away.
5. During the speech, we should let the world know what we think of the Democrats’ nazi tacticts to promote socialism by standing with the Nazi salute as a sign of our disrespect.
6. If you are questioned by anybody there, don’t give them the satisfaction of admitting you are a Republican. In fact, I wouldn’t even tell them that you are an American. If you can adopt a foreign accent…possibly a German one, you can pretend you are simply a tourist passing through.
Don’t forget, you are fighting for the values that we as Americans hold so dear. We cannot let Obama’s facism or his socialistic policies change the nature of our freedom loving country. It will be up to us to be the ones who defend the rights given to us not by the President, but by the Constitution and we the people. Make sure to spread out and don’t forget to spread out. You want to make sure you have plenty of breathing room.
