Rep. Louis Gohmert and Senate Republicans Take Moral High Ground

Jack Kimble (R-CA) is still my favorite congressman, but Louis Gohmert (R-TX) has made a strong case for second this week by fighting for this nation’s moral center. In opposing the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Act, Gohmert made liberals face the facts they try to avoid–namely that if people stop assaulting homosexuals based on their sexual preference we may as well start legalizing bestiality and necrophilia. His logic is irrefutable. If people aren’t allowed to attack people based on race or sexual orientation, then how can we as a country possibly say you can’t have sex with dead people?
Now, some people immediately would label Representative Gohmert a racist simply because he doesn’t think it should be illegal to attack other races based on their skin color, but that is not Louis Gohmert. Gohmert in his speech pointed out that he once voted for Alan Keyes because he found him “articulate”. So you see, Gohmert can’t possibly be racist. What he is instead is a great champion for America’s moral values. Liberals who oppose him prove themselves to be both Unamerican and Unchristian.
In other news, 30 Senate Republicans stood up to Minnesota Senator and left wing loon Al Franken who jammed an amendment to a defense bill through the Senate to deny company’s government funding if they refused to allowed employees who were raped to seek justice in court. It seems everybody from terrorists on down wants access to our bleeding heart judges. The amendment was inspired by Jamie Leigh Jones who while working in the Green Zone in Iraq was gang raped by her fellow Haliburton employees, locked in a shipping container, denied access to communication with the outside world, and told she would lose her job if she left Iraq or sought medical attention. When she returned to the states she was unable to press charges because she had signed a contract with Haliburton subsidiary KBR that forbid her from taking sexual assault charges to court.
What liberals forget is that our country’s defense contractors need a chance to blow off steam when they’re so far from home. Evidently, Mr. Franken would rather all the employees go sip some lemonade and watch DVDs of his Stuart Smalley movie when their off duty. It was great to see 30 Senate Republicans standing tall for the rights of our fighting men and women to blow off some steam, well maybe not our fighting women so much, but there aren’t a lot of women over there anyway. This is exactly what so many tea baggers were talking about when they pleaded for a return to the values that built this country. If you would like to write any of these 30 Republican Senators and thank them for standing up for our brave fighting men, here is a list:
Alexander (R-TN) Barrasso (R-WY) Bond (R-MO) Brownback (R-KS) Bunning (R-KY) Burr (R-NC) Chambliss (R-GA) Coburn (R-OK) Cochran (R-MS) Corker (R-TN) Cornyn (R-TX) Crapo (R-ID) DeMint (R-SC) Ensign (R-NV) Enzi (R-WY) Graham (R-SC) Gregg (R-NH) Inhofe (R-OK) Isakson (R-GA) Johanns (R-NE) Kyl (R-AZ) McCain (R-AZ) McConnell (R-KY) Risch (R-ID) Roberts (R-KS) Sessions (R-AL) Shelby (R-AL) Thune (R-SD) Vitter (R-LA) Wicker (R-MS)
Representative Gohmert is the conscience of the South. Remember he was the only Congressman brave enough to vote against the Congress’ Resolution of Good Wishes for President Obama and he was one of the leading voices in making Americans aware of the Obama death panels.

Irrefutable logic indeed, Nate.
Hi, Cecily! Do you find this fine-looking gentleman (not Nate, Rep. Gohmert) husband material?
His name even rhymes with gourmet. Is that why you said yum yum? But misses don’t eat, do they?

Oh look at that sad face! He just wants his country back, but the stupid liberals want to give it away to the homosexuals and the women and the minorities. When is this oppression of the White Man going to end! It’s heartbreaking. How could anyone look at that face and say, no, Mr. Man, you can’t have your way anymore! It’s not even your way, it’s someone else’s way now!

All I have to say, Miss Brazil, is that you have a lot of nerve. In an earlier comments section I asked you a very important question about something that meant the world to me and you ignored me. Now, you question my taste in men. As any Louie Gohmert fan knows, he is married with 3 daughters. He doesn’t want any of them to be among the 20% of women he tells us will die under Obamacare. That is a real man.

Everything I write gets stuck wating for moderation! Nate dear, why don’t you just allow comments without moderation (as I do on my blog)? Now I know how Steve feels!

Dotlizard, who can blame him for having this face now, when his country is being taken away from him? Imagine when he hears that Obama has just won the Nobel Peace Prize!

I’m sorry Lola. I wish I didn’t have to moderate, but I was having problems with some trolls earlier. I had the same person creating multiple accounts to spam the blog and I needed to add moderation for that reason.
