Senator Graham and Congressman Kimble Call for Repeal of 14th Amendment
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham and California Congressman Jack Kimble have announced that they are considering a Constitutional Amendment to repeal the 14th amendment. The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to all children born in the United States.
The problem is that these babies are often born to illegal immigrants serving as an anchor to allow the family to become legal immigrants themselves. The 14th amendment which allows birthright citizen was passed during the second half of the 19th century at a time when there was not much immigration in the United States. Now that our borders are practically exploding with immigrants, it’s time to stop this antiquated practice.
“I may introduce a constitutional amendment that changes the rules if you have a child here,” Graham said during an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren. “Birthright citizenship I think is a mistake … We should change our Constitution and say if you come here illegally and you have a child, that child’s automatically not a citizen.”
Asked how intent Graham is on introducing the amendment, the South Carolina Republican responded: “I got to.”
“Talking with Senator Graham has convinced me that a Constitutional Amendment is the way to go,” responded Senator Kimble, “I think we need to go in that direction, but the process is rather slow moving and we need to take emergency action now.”
When asked what those emergency actions should be, Kimble responded, “Abortion is not an answer and as a Catholic I don’t believe in artificial contraception either. The only way to make sure that immigrants do not have children in this country as 3/4 of the states vote on the convention is to not allow sexually active women or women who have had sex within the past 9 months into the country.”
Kimble went on to say, “I am perfectly willing to accept the honor system. I do not think we have to only allow women who are virgins or past child bearing age into the country, but that is certainly one way we could go.”
“I’m a practical guy, but when you go forward, I don’t want 20 million more 20 years from now,” said Graham. “I want to be fair. I want to be humane. We need immigration policy, but it should be on our terms, not someone else’s. I don’t know how to fix it all. But I do know what makes people mad, that 12 million people came here, and there seems to be no system to deal with stopping 20 million 20 years from now.”
“Immigration is a threat that previous generations of Americans didn’t have to worry about. I believe in following the original intent of the Constitution, but I don’t think we can always support the Constitution when it stands in the way of our freedom,” concluded Kimble.
Congressmen Explain How to Spot Illegals
With the threat to the country growing from illegal aliens, it is our patriotic duty to be on the lookout for illegals. Of course, with some 12,000,000 illegal aliens hiding in this country, they have obviously gotten quite good at avoiding detection. California has had one of the biggest problems with illegal Mexican immigrations since joining the United States. This unique problem has led California Congressmen Brian Bilbray and Jack Kimble to study the problem. Together, they offer very easy tips for spotting illegal aliens.
Bilbray relies on clothing as a dead giveaway, “look at the kind of dress you wear, there’s different types of attire, there’s different type of…right down to the shoes, right down to the clothes. But mostly by behavior it’s mostly behavior, just as the law enforcement people here in Washington, DC does it based on certain criminal activity there is behavior things that professionals are trained in across the board and this group shouldn’t be exempt from those observations as much as anybody else.”
Kimble agrees saying, “Oh yes, there are certain behaviors you can’t miss. If there is a cactus or a shady tree, they will you know I mean a lot of times they’ll take naps there. The other thing about illegal aliens as Congressman Bilbray pointed out is their clothing. I have gotten quite good at detecting illegals from their clothing. The key is looking for sombreros and luchador masks. Those are dead give aways.”
Bilbray and Kimble both agreed that accents could be misleading. “Sometimes they’ll adopt a fake British accent that will completely fool you,” said Kimble, “They’re good. They’re Dick Van Dyke good.”
For us average citizens, the key is keeping an eye open. Illegal immigrants are everywhere in this country and we need to keep a vigilant eye at all times. Hopefully, with helpful tips like these, we can win the war on illegal immigration
Hateful Mimes Want Immigrants to Take Over Country
When Roy Beck went to the Immigration rally in Washington, DC yesterday he did so carrying the hopes and aspirations of the 25 million Americans who are out of work and universally blame illegal immigration for the loss of their livelihoods. As the financial services and biotechnology industries shed American workers, you can be sure it is illegal immigrants from Mexico who will be willing to develop a new drug or invest a portfolio for $5 an hour paid under the table. The American worker can’t keep up with that and it was with that grim reality in mind that Roy Beck went to the immigration rally to demand that illegal immigrants go home.
Unfortunately, Roy was immediately set upon by 5 mimes. Mimes have always terrified me. I was scared of clowns as a children and with their strange silent ways, I have always regarded mimes as clown ninjas. However, the mimes who harassed Roy were not even good at their jobs. In the video one of the mimes can clearly be seen using a cell phone. Whatever happened to Omerta–the mime code of silence? In fact, one of the main ways that the mimes harassed Mister Beck was with whistles. Good mimes would never drown out somebody with noise and I call upon whatever union or guild licenses mimes to disbar the ones at the protest.
According to Anne Manetas of Beck’s organization NumbersUSA, a group of female mimes threatened Beck and his bodyguards with “constant efforts at crushing physical intimidation” instigated by “blowing hateful whistles” and waving balloons. Speaking as somebody who has been smacked by a balloon before, I can understand how Beck may have felt it necessary to send his bodyguard into action to protect his well-being. Yet, somehow in this upside down post Obama world we live in, it was the bodyguard who was arrested for assault after the mimes repeatedly attacked him getting their face makeup on his elbow and forcing him to use a knife to defend himself from the balloons.
If you believe in the cause of justice, this travesty cannot be allowed to stand. I call for a Department of Justice investigation into these hateful mimes and their oppressive balloons and hateful whistles. As Americans, we must stand up for what is right and demand that the security guard be set free.
Newt Gingrich Reaches Out to Spanish Speakers
As much as we don’t like to admit it, the time has come for Republicans to accept that Hispanics are the fastest growing population group in the United States. Now, I’m certainly not in favor of illegal immigration, but we need Mexican immigrants in this country. In my case my four Mexican employees work harder than my other employees, make $3.50 an hour less, and don’t require a lunch break. This is the work ethic that built this country and as Republicans we need to embrace it. I was overjoyed today to learn of New Gingrich’s new website to reach out to Hispanic voters.
When you go to The Americano.com, you immediately know that you’re in a site designed to appeal to today’s Hispanic voter. This is an extremely valuable resource that will allow Hispanics to keep up on conservative issues like Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX) and his tough talk on immigration or Newt Gingrich’s latest appearance on Meet the Press. Remember, it isn’t only Mexican immigrants that this site is aimed at. There are all sorts of immigrants coming from South American countries with long traditions of conservative strong man governments. These are very natural targets for the Republican message. It isn’t a huge jump from a Noriega or a Pinochet to a Bachmann.
If you meet a Mexican or South American immigrant, do not automatically assume that they are here illegally. Instead, in a very friendly manner ask them if you can see their papers. If they are here legally, they should have no trouble showing you their green card. If the language barrier is too great be sure to use gestures and talk loudly and slowly. I have found that many Spanish words end in vowels and often times adding a long “o” sound to the end of words, it helps to make you more easily understood by native Spanish speakers. If we reach out to our friends from the South, we have a very good chance of taking back the White House in 2010.
US Must Intervene to Stop Mexican Drug Violence
You don’t have to watch Lou Dobbs for very long to reallize just what a threat the United States has on its Southern border. Even semi-legitimate organizations like the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce “is effectively an organization that is interested in the export of American capital and production to Mexico and Mexico’s export of drugs and illegal aliens to the United States. This is crazy stuff.”
We must get control of the Mexico situation. The Mexican towns on the border with the United States are getting more and more dangerous as drug fueld violence is escalating. Illegal immigrants continue to flood into the United States and As Mr. Dobbs has pointed out Mexican immigrants are responsible for the health care crisis, our failing schools, the economic downturn, the failure of the war in Iraq, and leprosy.
I have an idea that will solve the Mexican problem and help our economy at the same time. Back in 1847, the United States sent General Zachary Taylor into Mexican territory where 11 soldiers were killed by the Mexican cavalry in what became known as the Thornton affair. As a result, the United States plunged into the Mexican-American War–a war that brough us both Texas and California. By sending troops down to Mexico we can start a war that gives us a legitimate claim to a large chunk of Mexican territory. Unlike Islamic extremists, most of Mexico would be thrilled to be conquered. We could use this area (which I would place just South of Monterey) as a sort of proving ground for Mexicans who want to come into the United States proper. Believe it or not, it would reduce the size of our border with Mexico too if we want to build a fence.
This is the time for bold thinking. It is an excellent time for provoking a war–not a depressing war that goes on forever, but a quick and decisive vicyory that can revive our economy.
McCain Calls for Surge to Solve Immigration Crisis
The Bush administration has done an admirable job of slowing down the flood of illegal immigration into this country over the past year or so. Knowing that illegals frequently come here looking for jobs in such fields as construction and food processing the government has agressively tried to slow down the construction industry and raise the price of food in an attempt to lower the demand for immigrant labor. Knowing the foreign workers send money home to Mexico, the Bush administration has worked behind the scenes to lower the value of our currency making it impractical for immigrants to send money home.
McCain has a different policy. McCain has recently become really impressed with the surge in Iraq and has called recently for surges to help with crime, education, and energy. Now, he takes it one step further with a surge to battle immigration. The plan is simple enough. If we can keep a close tab on the number of illegal aliens crossing the border we can send an equal or greater number back across the border in the other direction.
Say that 1,000 immigrants cross the border from Mexico heading North into the United States. Normally, this is 1,000 more people in this country. McCain’s plan would send 1,000 other people heading South across the border which would give us a net gain of zero immigrants. By “surging” emigrants across the border we will keep a balanced population.
According to McCain, ”Our surge has succeeded in Iraq militarily. Now we need an immigration surge to immigrants at home or replace them with new people. It is precisely the success of the surge in Iraq that shows us the way to succeed in fighting illegal immigration.” McCain has also promised to continue George Bush’s policy of removing extra jobs from the economy as a way to avoid tempting new immigrants.
Putting the Pope on a Rope
I’ve never had any use for the Catholic church. I’ve mentioned before that my sister married a papist. As many know the Catholic church lost its way in 1090 when Peter the Hermit began using rosary beeds to pray. I’ve always admired John McCain for his vigilant anti-Catholicism including courting the endorsement of Reverend John Hagee who calls the Roman church, “The Whore of Babylon.”
The pope Wednesday exhorted Americans to “welcome the immigrants who join your ranks today, to share their joys and hopes, to support them in their sorrows and trials and to help them flourish in their new home.”
Basically, the Pope encourages illegal immigration, but why? What does he have to gain? Why should he care? It took the brilliant conservative representative Tom Tancredo to nail him. On Thursday Tancredo called the Pope out on wanting more foreigners here because Mexicans are all Catholic. There’s a reason that Tancredo is on the short list of McCain’s VP candidates and it is courageous statements like this one.
Good Walls Make Good Neighbors
Illegal immigration is a very tricky subject. On the one hand, Illegal immigrants help keep the cost of doing business in the United States down. On the other hand we have laws for a reason.
America is a great melting pot where people come from all over the world and give up their old cultures to become American. However, if you think of it as a stew, Mexicans are one spice in the stew and lately the stew has beeen getting too spicy. In our culture white anglo-saxon protestants are the meat and you don’t want the meat overpowered by the spice.
The obvious solution is too build a large wall separating the United States from Mexico, but it is important that we build one to the North as well and too often that discussion is neglected. Esitmates are that 6% of illegal immigrants in this country came in through Canada and if we build a wall to the South that number will escalate. Not only will Mexicans try enterring through Canada, Canadians themselves in the worsening economy will attempt to head South to avoid their welfare state. The extreme lines for medical care and the lack of quality care will send more and more Canadians to the United States as will their tax burden and their inferior government services. Canadians are great, but like Mexicans they’re a spice. If we don’t want this country overrun with beer drinking, hockey watching, lumberjack who are looking for more government help and higher tax rates we need to take action now and build a wall to the North as well.
