I am only speaking for me.I do think hoetamxuslioy is wrong(my opinion, but hear me out please),but I would not refer to a gay person as a di$e or fa$$ot because it is hurtful just as the n word.I would not derespect them because they are still human beings. It does not mean my mind is small, but I have a different opinion. To me a sin is a sin whether u lie, steal, commit murder or whatever there are no big sins or little ones they are all the same.So I try my hardest not to judge, remember he without a blemish should throw the first stone or something to that effect.I know several gays and really their sexuality is of no concern to me.Igornance comes in all shapes and forms, don't let one experience allow u to group everyone together.one more thing,I understand what u mean when u say we have the same issues with discrimination, but they really are different.you will never understand the two worlds African Americans gave to walk every day unless you are African American.Caucasin gays can hide their sexuality but,I cannot hide my skin color.Kinda like comparing apples to oranges, they are both fruits but after that how are they siimilar.Have a wonderful day!

Did you factor in that the Republicans would have voted no, on eyrevhing you suggested, simply because you were black and represented the other party ? Sigh. Your argument is that Republicans oppose Obama because he is African-American. Aside from the usual old saw that because Republicans don't blithely accept big government policies they must be racists, please prove your charge of racism. You cannot because it a fatuous argument, and nothing but the usual Democratic race-baiting that does nothing to move the country forward. Did you factor in that the Republicans would have voted no, on eyrevhing you suggested, simply because you were black and represented the other party ? That’s how Jim DeMint and Mitch McConnell vote. Now remove the absurd blanket charge of racism, and you make a fair point here. Some Republicans have been doing nothing but obstructing this president. Yet, it seems no different to me than how the Democratic Congress obstructed President Bush in the midst of a war (they opposed it after they voted for it). The war is lost comment by Senator Quisling Reid comes to mind. The last thing a soldier in combat needs is a Senator at home telling him that all his efforts are lost. It is, of course, the first thing the enemy needs. From the figures I find at the bureau of labor statistics, Obama’s administration has created more jobs, than the net total Bush created. Bush created 3.3 million during the first part of his terms, but lost 4.4 million, giving him a net loss of 1.1 million, which are the worst figures of any president serving a 4 year term, since they started keeping records during Harry Truman’s presidency in the ’40s I have no idea where you are getting these numbers, nor what your methodology is. However, they are wrong. Bush lost 653,000 net private sector jobs, while Obama has lost 1.26 million according to the lastest BLS numbers. I posted them in the latest incarnation of his unemployment post here (), where you can see exactly how I arrived there. To say that net positive jobs have been created during the Obama administration is simply wrong. That's not at all what the official data shows. As an interesting aside, some 200 presidential scholars have recently put your man George W. at 4 up from the bottom of the list of presidents, meaning only three have been worse in our history. By the way, Jimmy Carter is considerably ahead of Bush, UP the list. I’m sure that some historians argue that FDR’s policies were what caused the depression to last as long as it did. What's your point? The argument here is about Obama, who has been in office for three years and who had a solid Democratic majority for two of them. He inherited a mess to be sure, but his efforts have done little to get us out of this mess. He inherited a mess with a 7.8% unemployment rate. The unemployment rate is now 8.6%. All I am asking for is an unemployment rate below 7.8%. To me, that is an objective sign of improvement. And THREE YEARS is not instantaneous. It is a long period of time. How many years does he need to show even a little progress? It is time he accepted his own share of the mess.

I remember once being aemhasd at being assumed a racist.Right now, thinking of imagining being a (type A) racist is like thinking of admitting other nasty assumptions, reactions, attitudes and behaviors I have. Usually I shut them out right fast but sometimes I can muster the serenity to face one such thing for a short time, in private.I feel alienated by the part of the culture that seems to think the solution to hatred, say, is to just not be that way. It baffles me. Like, blip, Not hate? Okay. blip Is something supposed to have gone on in there?Type B is politically incorrect and yet I can't imagine being aemhasd about admitting the possibility. But finding out that I was *too* willing to believe some particular claim might be embarrassing. That is, more embarrassing than I would expect feeling about believing an arbitrary scientific claim. Of course, such a willingness might have an impact on how I treated people, as opposed to, say, which vitamins I took.

The climate cizeras will always say that the climate is in danger. They have religiously espoused the theory that no matter how hard we have tried for the past forty years, the Air and Water is no cleaner than it was the day we started in earnest on the First Earth Day in 1970. They say we must work harder, to no avail. The truth? It is studiously avoided. There are only two metropolitan areas left in the USA that still have endemic Air pollution. Even those two metropolitan areas of Houston and its Refineries, and Los Angeles with it accident of geography and air inversions, the Air is much, much, better than it was and nearing being Clean. If we measured by the Air Quality standards in effect on the First Earth Day, not the tougher ones of today, even these two metro areas would be decreed to have Clean Air. The Air across all the USA would be deemed Clean then. Our Waters are now already Clean. There are no more burning rivers, nor any serving as open sewers. They all have been cleaned up. Does that mean that the water is pure? Of course not,. but it never was. It is at least as good, however, as it was when Europeans first landed here, some five hundred years ago.You can't de-mobilize and cease spending money on the War on Pollution until we have won, any more than we could the day before D-Day in Normandy. But we did demobilize in 1946, and saved the Peace Dividend IT IS is the equivalent of 1946 post WW II now, and we can save monies de-mobilizing the EPA, DOE, and assorted other agencies, geared up to wage war on the environment.
