That’s Right Nate

When an actor dies, it is sometimes very easy to mistake him for the characters he played.   For instance, if you were to judge Ronald Reagan by his movie career, you would think he was some kind of half-brained dimwit who kept getting outsmarted by a monkey.  When John Forsythe died today, the media elites were quick to pounce on him as some sort of beloved American figure.  However, even in the roles he pick he wore his twisted liberal ideology on his sleeve as surely as if it was a hammer and a sickle.  It is easy to mistake Forsythe for the lovable, family man, and business man Blake Carrington who he played on Dynasty.  The truth is much uglier.

John Forsythe’s own website contains the quote, “”I’m a member of the establishment inescapably, but beneath this gray-flannel exterior beats a peculiar kind of a heart. It wants a better life for all, less hypocrisy and more social justice.”

I don’t need to tell you what no less an expert than Glenn Beck said about social justice, but I will. “Social justice was the rallying cry—economic justice and social justice—the rallying cry on both the communist front and the fascist front. That is not an American idea. And if we don’t get off the social justice economic justice bandwagon, if you are not aware of what this is, you are in grave danger. All of our faiths–my faith your faith–whatever your church is, this is infecting all of them”, said Beck.

Yeah, that’s right–the kindly actor would happily escort you to a work camp in the name of social justice.  Now, with that fresh perspective let’s look at some of John Forsythe’s roles:

• Bachelor Father – In 1957 he was a pioneer in teaching impressionable people that children don’t need two parents
• Kitten with a Whip – Encouraging sado-masochism before the sexual revolution
• In Cold Blood – A film glorifying crime and homosexuality
• World of Survival – He served as narrator on this alarmist environmentalist diatribe.
• Charlie’s Angels – Hard core feminist propaganda
• Dynasty – Excellent job playing the charismatic Blake Carrington
• The Powers that Be – Normal Lear’s liberal diatribe was mercifully canceled after only a season.

Yes, a part of me will mourn the death of Blake Carrington, but John Forsythe’s death just goes to show you liberals out there that you will meet your maker and when you do you will have to answer for opposing the war in Iraq and giving people medical care.   Let this untimely death be a warning to get right.

This week, I was forced to sit through yet another pathetic display of misplaced values at my daughter Emily’s school.   She’s a 6th grader, but frankly I cannot wait until she can finally drop out of that place once and for all.  This week, was the Memorial Day Celebration for parents.   Sadly, there was hardly any celebrating.   My daughter was one of a collection of 6th graders who sang Dire Straits’ “Brothers in Arms”.   Later, she played the caretaker of an old veteran returning to Normandy.   This thing was 2 hours of non-stop scenes, vignettes, and songs decrying the inhumanity of war.

What made this totally inexcusable is after my daughter told me of her rehearsals a month ago, I sent her teacher a 15 page script for what would have been an unbelievably kick ass production. You can’t tell me that Emily’s entire class covering Sgt. Barry Sadler’s Ballad of the Green Berets wouldn’t have been far more moving or that they couldn’t have found one 8th grade boy capable of delivering George C. Scott’s classic no retreat, no surrender speech from Patton. If our students do not know of the glory of war, how will they ever be ready for the battles that they will have to fight in the future. My daughter’s Memorial Day presentation seemed to be all about death and dying.

Now, the teacher didn’t tell me that my show ideas were bad, but she refused to try to implement them saying that there wasn’t enough time this year. Unfortunately, the principal and Local School Council backed her up, but I am very hopeful for next year that we can get this in. Ever since the school’s 80% Mexican version of My Fair Lady, I’ve found their performing arts way below the quality expected from one of the supposedly better schools in Chicago. The problem is all these other parents are just thrilled to see their child on stage in a costume that they refuse to be impartial critics. They actually gave a standing ovation at the end. I felt like I was the nut for sitting respectfully with my hands in my lap.

Death is an unfortunate side effect of war, but without the sacrifices made by previous generations we would never have freed the slaves, stopped Hitler, or helped the Iranians peacefully exert influence in Iraq. Dying gloriously in battle is not the worst thing that could happen to a man and I like to think that if I had been born at a different time or of a different socio-economic group I would not have hesitated to put my life on the line for my heterosexual brothers.  I give the Bilandic Elementary School Memorial Day Celebration 2009 a rating of 2-stars.   There are many better ways to spend an afternoon and this is really only worth seeing if you have a child in the cast.

I used to believe that Bill O’Reilly was the King of the Boycotts after he got Spain to not prosecute members of the Bush administration for war crimes.   I thought of myself as being a close second after the success of my recent boycotts.  I have come to realize that Bill and I were just pikers compared to the real King of Boycotts.  Thomas George is the editor of BoycottLiberalism.com and I have to say he has got the most kick butt clearinghouse for information on just who and what t0 boycott.

I first uncovered this site when I was looking to see if anybody else was boycotting Star Trek and sure enough, since J.J. Abrams attended a fund raising dinner at Barbara Streisand’s place Star Trek makes the weekly boycott special list along with Jessica Biel’s Powder Blue, Donald Trump’s Think Like a Champion, and Caroline Rhea’s Love N’ Dancing.

This guy is totally hard core.   He’s not afraid to boycott liberals  like The Allman Brothers, Luther Vandross, Michael Bolton, Candice Bergen, and Lou Dobbs.   Judging by the careers of people like Hootie and the Blowfish and Lionel Richie it definitely looks like the boycotts are working too. There are literally hundreds of liberals the site encourages boycotting.

The website is not limited to boycotting either.   On it, Mister George talks about how he was saved by being born again and how we can also be saved.   My favorite feature is the predictions.  Here, the website has been hitting with uncanny regularity on some very detailed predictions.   Here are my favorites that have not been resolved yet:

1. Obama is in over his head
2. Biden will not like some of the things Obama tells him to do
3. Barack Obama does not have a clue about being President
4. Barack Obama is a phony
5. Barack Obama is arrogant

Will any of these predictions come true?  Who can say, but he did successfully predict that liberal values would lead to the decline of America.   This site has boycotted nearly every major motion picture and boycotted every network but Fox.   However, I’m sure with Wanda Sykes upcoming show on Fox next year that will soon change.  I believe this site is can be an inspiration to us all.

Turkey Day? We must battle back against the liberal agenda.

I was all set to unleash my rage at the atheists attempts to take the Christ out of Christmas.  I feel there are some people very deserving of my righteous indignation.  However, a lot of great men with bigger audiences than myself like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly have been fighting that battle for a few years now.  Instead I will focus on a new threat–The Atheists’ War on Thanksgiving

I can’t believe the number of circulars I am receiving in the mail and the number of signs that I am seeing in stores referring to the holiday of “Turkey Day”.  Even worse is “Black Friday”.   None of these names apply even the slightest but of gratitude to God for our bountiful harvest and the blessings we have received throughout the year.  This is all part of the secular progressive agenda to get Christianity, spirituality, Puritanism, and Pilgrims out of the public square.

The problem is that children will not ask mom and dad what is turkey day?  I mean turkey day is pretty obvious.  However, if they see the holiday referred to as Thanksgiving, they may ask about that.  This is all part of a movement to legalize gay marriage, narcotics, and public urination.

I ask all loyal readers of this blog to avoid all stores that refer to Thanksgiving as Turkey Day or Black Friday.  Let our boycott speak volumes as we get retailers to start putting the thanks back in Thanksgiving.

I finally returned from my trip.  Seeing all of those Presidential Museums and historic sites was truly inspiring.  Jim and

I agreed to make it back to the Hoover Museum sometime during Hoover Days–the festival of everything Herbert Hoover.  Much like John McCain, Hoover’s life was all about service.

Now that I’ve had a few days I wanted to explain just what was so wrong about the Batman movie from a liberal agenda standpoint and to compare it to the far superior Batman and Robin which was fair and balanced.

In Batman and Robin we saw a strong relationship between the lead characters who united in a quest for justice (not unlike John McCain and Lindsay Graham).  That relationship is threatened by a woman in Poison Ivy, but they let nothing stop them from their quest.   The movie also shows nature as something that most be contained and shows that an ice age is actually an ally of nature, not an enemy.

In the new movie, Batman immediately ditches the Batmobile for a more fuel efficient motorcycle.  As if drilling for more oil isn’t heroic.  We are constantly shown in the movie authority figures we can’t trust from the cops, to the district attorney, to nurses or at least the Joker in a nurse’s uniform.  Batman is portrayed as basically Che Quevara with high tech equipment.  These are not appropriate messages for kids or even for adults for that matter.

I believe that for these reasons and the reasons I mentioned in the article Dark Knight Liberal Propaganda is No Joke I am calling all readers of this blog to boycott this movie.  Individually, there isn’t much we can do, but together we have power.  On a happier note, Hostess has apparently given into my boycott of fruit pies and removed the occult promoting Fruit Pie the Magician from packages of Hostess Fruit Pies.   I thank you all for your support of the boycott.  You are free to resume eating Hostess Fruit Pies at your convenience.
