The King of the Boycotts
I used to believe that Bill O’Reilly was the King of the Boycotts after he got Spain to not prosecute members of the Bush administration for war crimes. I thought of myself as being a close second after the success of my recent boycotts. I have come to realize that Bill and I were just pikers compared to the real King of Boycotts. Thomas George is the editor of BoycottLiberalism.com and I have to say he has got the most kick butt clearinghouse for information on just who and what t0 boycott.
I first uncovered this site when I was looking to see if anybody else was boycotting Star Trek and sure enough, since J.J. Abrams attended a fund raising dinner at Barbara Streisand’s place Star Trek makes the weekly boycott special list along with Jessica Biel’s Powder Blue, Donald Trump’s Think Like a Champion, and Caroline Rhea’s Love N’ Dancing.
This guy is totally hard core. He’s not afraid to boycott liberals like The Allman Brothers, Luther Vandross, Michael Bolton, Candice Bergen, and Lou Dobbs. Judging by the careers of people like Hootie and the Blowfish and Lionel Richie it definitely looks like the boycotts are working too. There are literally hundreds of liberals the site encourages boycotting.
The website is not limited to boycotting either. On it, Mister George talks about how he was saved by being born again and how we can also be saved. My favorite feature is the predictions. Here, the website has been hitting with uncanny regularity on some very detailed predictions. Here are my favorites that have not been resolved yet:
- Obama is in over his head
- Biden will not like some of the things Obama tells him to do
- Barack Obama does not have a clue about being President
- Barack Obama is a phony
- Barack Obama is arrogant
Will any of these predictions come true? Who can say, but he did successfully predict that liberal values would lead to the decline of America. This site has boycotted nearly every major motion picture and boycotted every network but Fox. However, I’m sure with Wanda Sykes upcoming show on Fox next year that will soon change. I believe this site is can be an inspiration to us all.
Obama’s Secretary of Education

There have been several people mentioned for Barrack Obama’s selection as Secretary of Education. Whoever takes on this job will have a daunting task in continuing to dismantle public schools in this country in favor of for-profit charter schools, remove useless classes from our public school curriculum, and continue to punish those lazy union teachers in all ways possible. The first big challenge is No Child Left Behind’s reauthorization–a brilliant program that works by using testing to single out struggling schools and punish them. I have heard several people mentioned for Secretary of Education and I thought I’d handicap them:
Arne Duncan – A basketball player in Australia before being tabbed by Chicago’s Mayor Daley to lead the city’s schools. A childhood friend of singer R. Kelly, Duncan has helped Chicago usher in a host of new charters schools which let the free market take control of large chunk of Chicago’s public schools. These charters appear are the future of universal public education as they are able to have more rigorous standards than public schools that must admit everybody.
Paul Vallas – Arne Duncan’s predecessor in Chicago he is responsible for turning around the Chicago Public School System before Duncan. He then went on to create the educational miracle that is Philadelphia and the soon to come miracle in New Orleans.
Inez Tennenbaum – I do not like her at all. Back when South Carolina was #50 in ISAT scores she clashed with John Stossel. Her scores went way up to #18 as she had said they would, but I think Stossel was onto something. The big reason she should be eliminated is that unlike the other candidates she’s a former teacher which to me is a conflict of interest. If you’ve been in the teacher’s union, how are you going to be expected to crush the unions.
Linda Darling-Hammond – Totally in the pocket of the unions. How can we impose reform on them if they have the Education Secretary on their side?
Joel Klein – Has been responsible for the New York Education miracle.
Michelle Rhee – Has been head of Washington D.C. schools for a miraculous year.
Democratic Underground: Day 3
I have yet to hear back from Democratic Underground. I have read through their rules and one little annoying thing is they admit flat out that they will not respond to any questions of their policy.
I believe the phrase that got me banned in their rules was “We ban conservative disruptors who are opposed to the broad goals of this website. If you think overall that George W. Bush is doing a swell job, or if you wish to see Republicans win, or if you are generally supportive of conservative ideals, please do not register to post, as you will likely be banned. “
I would hardly call what I did disruption as I was far more polite and civil than most of the posters. I had thought of starting an anti-Democratic Underground group or protesting in some way, but I have decided they’re not worth it. If their views are so easily shaken that the presence of one drop of Republicanism will taint their ocean of self-righteous liberal muck than so be it.
