Michelle Bachman Urges People to Slit their Wrists

with 3 comments

cuttingRecently, Michelle Bachman made a statement that has caused a great deal of concern.   She is normally a very gifted public speaker known for her pro-Americanism, but in this case I urge you not to follow her. “This cannot pass,” Michele told the crowd in Denver this week,  “What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn’t pass.”

She went on to add an elegant flourish rejecting Obama’s health care initiatives by decrying, “Right now, we are looking at reaching down the throat and ripping the guts out of freedom. And we may never be able to restore it if we don’t man up and take this one on.”

While I wholeheartedly agree that we must protect freedom’s guts from Obama, every year it is estimated 1 million people commit suicide.  For many people it is because they are listening to heavy metal music, are living a homosexual lifestyle, playing video games, or just  live in a country with rationed health care, but for many other people serious depression can cause them to believe there is no hope.   Please do not sacrifice yourself to oppose Obama’s health care initiatives.  There are other ways to do it.  If you or somebody you know is considering slitting your wrists please visit http://www.sprc.org/.

Michael Jackson and I Take on Current Events

with one comment

In the 1980s, I felt a special kinship to Michael Jackson.  You see, I had lost one of my gloves and my parents disapproving of my irresponsible behavior didn’t want to reward me by buying me a new pair so in the winter of 1984, I spent a lot of time wearing only one glove.   Kids would laugh at me, but  then Thriller came out and suddenly I was the cool one.  I missed a lot of big stories while I was gone.  Not the least was Michael’s death.   Here’s my commentary with help from the King of Pop.

Keep on with the force don’t stop.  Don’t stop til you get enough.

Norm Coleman finally lost his battle to Al Franken for the Minnesota senate seat.   I should really say he got it stolen away.   Coleman would still be Senator except that 300 more people voted for Franken.   I see people protesting the coup in Honduras and the repression in Iran, but where is Norm’s support.   We really need a place to go where this can be argued after the Supreme Court.   Now, Obama will reach out to Republicans even less than he has.   What a dictator.  Just because we won’t vote for him doesn’t mean we don’t want to be asked.

Got to be there in the morning when she says hello to the world.  Got to be there, got to be there. Bring her good times and show her she’s my girl.

I am thrilled to find out that Mark Sanford is still alive.  I can’t believe the crap people are giving him.   What a politician does in Thailand or Argentina is none of their business.  It reminds me of when I was in college.  I was dating a Canadian supermodel from Canada and people were jealous.  They used to give me a hard time about it.  It didn’t help when she signed a deal with a wallet company so everybody had a picture of her just like the one she sent me.   I worry that this scandal and John Ensign’s affair may be distracting from our pro-marriage message.

Leave me alone-Stop it! Just stop doggin’ me around. Just stop doggin’ me

Michelle Bachman’s opposition to the census is a courageous stand.   I have never believed in censuses.  Afterall, baby Jesus would have had a proper bed to be born in if Mary and Joseph didn’t have to go to Bethlehem for a census.  Besides, we all know that math has a liberal bias and that once the numbers are counted it will hurt the Republicans.  I prefer relying on my faith in God to tell me how many people live in this country and not some Washington bureaucrat.

They told him don’t you ever come around here.  Don’t want to see your face you better disappear.  The fire’s in their eyes and their words are really clear so beat it.

When Hugo Chavez tried to claim that the United States instigated the coup in Honduras, he ran right up against President Obama condemning that same coup.  It caused a Venezuelan opposition party to label him “The George Bush of Latin America”.   I’m assuming that by that they mean an upright man of faith and strong personal convictions who rules the country to economic prosperity and world dominance.    Sorry, that doesn’t sound like Chavez at all.

And no message could have been any clearer if you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself then make a change.

This last story reaffirms my faith in God.   When Joe the Plumber was asked about potentially running for office he said, “You know I talked to God about it and he was like “no”.   If there was ever proof needed that God was looking out for us here on Earth, I think that’s it.

Bachman Bill Could Stop Global Takeover

with 2 comments

As has been reported earlier on this blog, there is a grave threat to this country by the forces of globalism.   While Glenn Beck and Michelle Bachman have been standing up to the Chinese and their attempts to have one world currency.  I have been standing up to the Esperanti as they have tried to do the same to our language.  On March 25th Bachman wrote, ““Yesterday, during a Financial Services Committee hearing, I asked Secretary Geithner if he would denounce efforts to move towards a global currency and he answered unequivocally that he would,” said Bachmann. “And President Obama gave the nation the same assurances. But just a day later, Secretary Geithner has left the option on the table. I want to know which it is. The American people deserve to know.”

In order to ensure that the United States does not abandon the dollar, Representative Bachman (R-MN) has introduced a resolution that would bar the dollar from being replaced by any of them foreign currencies.  I applaud Ms. Bachman for her courage, though it appalls me that in a House of Representatives with like 250 people, we would need to rely on a woman for courage.  I ask that congress do a similiar resolution to make sure that English is not replaced by Esperanto as our official language regardless of Obama’s intent.

One of the biggest problems we face is a growing turf war wuthin the Modern Language Association, which has become more of a trade union for graduates with degrees in English than the gatekeeper of our linguistic purity.   As the MLA has weakened in its staunch defense of language, fringe groups like the APA and even a leftist University of Chicago secretary by the name of Kate Turabian have fought with the MLA over the proper way to cite sources, but alas nobody has picked up the slack when it comes to defending our lingistic integrity from sea to shining sea.

I hate to use the French as any sort of positive example, but they have a vigorous defense of their language’s integrity.   I call on Congress to create a Department of Linguistic Security that would bring organizations like the MLA under one umbrella group and defend us from the attempts of globalists to attempt to control our thoughts by controlling the language we use to express them.   We must come together as we did in the days after 9/11 to combat this growing threat.

Michelle Bachman Turns Her Overdrive to the Subject of the Rich

with 4 comments

Michelle Bachman wasted no time this week in claiming that the Obama administration is robbing this country of its greatest resource.   “We’re running out of rich people,” said the Republican Congresswoman from Minnesota on a conservative talk show in Minnesota.  This is truly a sad state of affairs.  The United States looks up to our rich as a source of inspiration filling a roll that royalty would serve in other cultures.  When the super rich become merely rich and the merely rich fade into the obscurity of upper middle class living, we all lose something precious.

There are many people who have lived a middle class lifestyle who as a result of this economic downturn are finding themselves in danger of losing their home and having to choose between health care and food for their families.  Don’t we owe it to these people to offer them the greatest upperclass we can for them to aspire to and to distract them from their own miserable lives?  The top 1% of this country pays 27% of our country’s taxes despite owning only45% of this country’s wealth.  We must call upon congress to cut taxes further for this group.   George Bush was able to increase their standard of living, if Obama is any kind of President he should be able to do so as well.

Michelle Bachman continues to amaze me.  She is truly one of the deep thinkers of the Republican party.  I would love to know what she knows about her Democrat colleagues in congress.  Before the elections she called for McCarthy style trials of those members she deemed Unamerican.  Now she points out that “many members of congress have an aversion to capitalism”.  Outside of Bernie Sanders who has the decency to run as a socialist,  our congress people should be capitalists.  There is also no excuse for a congressman to be Unamerican.   I would definitely like to put Representative Bachman in charge of finding these Unamerican representatives.

Three Women Are Our Future

with 11 comments

As we rebuild our party into a political force again, I am reminded of the classic television show–Charlie’s Angels.  I believe that there are 3 angels that we need to count on to win us the Presidency and take back congress in 2012.

Sarah Palin is The Candidate.  She is basically our Jaclyn Smith and not simply because they Ms. Smith has her own line of clothes and Sarah Palin is famous for her fabulous wardrobe.  Sarah is our next best chance to win the Presidency and best of all she’s a blank state.  Word has come out of the McCain camp that she thinks Africa is a country and we already knew she didn’t really know much about the Constitution.  As a result, she’s a blank slate.  We’ve got 4 years to fill her with talking points and we don’t have to worry about her having a strong opinion of her own.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck is The Journalist.  She is our Farah or Cheryl Ladd.  She’s not only beautiful, but he’s a hard hitting investigator.  Her days on The View are probably numbered, but her abilities as a reporter could be best utilized at Fox News where she could continue to take information from the internets and expose it to the millions of people watching her on television.

Michelle Bachman – A representative from Minnesota who just won reelection.  She’s our Kate Jackson.  Poor Kate wasn’t quite as pretty as the other angels and well..that’s probably enough said.  During the primaries, Michelle called for investigating all members of congress who had unamerican views and I hope she will go ahead and pursue this course.  If we can remove just a handful of Democrat Senators for being unamaerican it’ll make the next election in 2010 that much easier.
