At Easter, Let’s Look At What Unites Us
Easter is an amazing time of year that is often neglected for Christmas. We all celebrate the holiday in our own way, but it would be nice for everybody in this world regardless of religion or denomination to get together and remember what unifies us–that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that his appointing Peter to lead the church in no way made him Pope, and that we can all be saved if we come to Jesus and ask him to change our sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religions denomination.
The Swedish celebrated Easter this year, the way they celebrate everything–with Legos. Their giant 6 foot tall statue of Jesus took the parishioners of a church in Vasteras, Sweden one and a half years to build and over 30,000 pieces. It is quite impressive to look at, but I would like to remind them that if they used a good old fashioned American erector set, they could have made a Jesus that walked and would have probably been more inspirational.
Halfway around the world in Australia, artist Mitch Mitchell has used his sculpting talents not to honor Jesus as those Lego sculptors in Sweden had, but to mock Christianity by creating a statue of a naked woman on a cross. Needless to say, God sent his only son to save us, not his only daughter. I’m not saying that a woman couldn’t have done the job so please don’t email me hate mail, but if a woman was capable of saving the world as Jesus did, God probably would have had a daughter too. Anybody who has seen Mel Gibson’s wonderful movie on the life of Jesus, knows that he was brutalized at the end of that movie. It is ridiculous to think that a smaller and frailer woman would have been able to stand up to that kind of punishment.
Regardless of your family’s religion I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday. I’ve been a bit slow with my posting this week, but I hope to be up to a fuller schedule for next week.
Is Sarah Palin Too Beautiful?

Too beautiful to be President
The real reason John McCain lost the election in November became just a little bit clearer < thanks to a new study out of the University of South Florida. The well-researched study took 133 undergraduates and had them write a few lines about either Palin or actress Anagelina Jolie. Half of the participants were asked to write about appearance and the other half were assigned to write their general opinion. Then they were asked to write about who they would vote for in the upcoming election. The study found that the people who wrote about Palin, rated her much higher for her looks than for her personality and competence. The obvious conclusion is that Palin’s stunning appearance distracts people from her competence.
This may also explain why other attractive women like Monica Goodling, Michelle Bachman, and Katherine Harris have had so much trouble getting people to notice their political acumen and not their breathtaking beauty. This at least partially explains why the Democrats have had such a proclivity for bowsers like Claire McCaskill and Katherine Sebelius–woof woof. As Americans we need to grow up and learn to start taking attractive women seriously. There is no reason why an attractive conservative Christian woman between the ages of 21 and 28 couldn’t become a CEO, The President of the United States, or the first lady of self-storage for the entire Great Lakes region.
It is also time for so-called feminists start making more of an effort. A little makeup and some sexy clothes never hurt anybody. If we get to the point where only ugly women can be taken seriously in politics, attractive women will consciously choose to be less pretty and that would truly be a tragedy.
Courting the Hillary Vote

Janet Reno's love child? OK I have to admit, that's pretty funny.
Every now and then I like to reach out to the Hillary Clinton supporters who still aren’t supporting Obama. I know that we don’t agree on most of the issues, but don’t let that stop you from supporting McCain. As Republicans we learned a long time ago that if we relied only on people who agreed with us to support us we would never get the educated voter and we’d be doomed to be a minority party. We must reach out and expand our base and that is where you come in.
There are two organizations I want to tell you about. One is called COUGAR (It stands for Cut Obama Up Get A Republican). This is an organization of brave women who have united to say that punishing Obama for any slights we found in the mainstream media is far more important than who will govern this country for the next four years). All I can say is, “Right on” sisters. The other group is Women For McCain. I can’t urge you enough to take a look at their fine website for a woman’s viewpoint on why you should support McCain for President.
Critics of McCain are going to try and distract you from the issues. They’ll point out the way he cheated on his first wife in order to marry the current Mrs. McCain, but let’s be honest after her car accident she got fat. Would you really expect your husband to stay with you if you became a fattie and a wealthy heiress was interested in him? It seems to me Carol McCain had a lot more to worry about with her debilitating pain than pleasing her man and that is more the pity.
Then there are the comments like offering up his wife in an X Rated beauty contest, or joking about women who get raped by gorillas, or calling his wife a cunt, or laughing when a questioner at a town hall meeting called Hillary a bitch, or joking about beating his wife, or voting against equal pay for women with the excuse that women should get jobs in coal mines, or said Chelsea Clinton was ugly because her father was Janet Reno, but remember John McCain was a POW. These attacks only exist to distract you from the real issues. McCain’s stand on the three issues most important to women and to Hillary supporters should supercede any disagreements with McCain on social policy or the economy or the Supreme Court.
1. You don’t like Obama and neither does John McCain. This is the ultimate sympatico. Together, we can show Obama not to take women for granted.
2. Inheritance Tax – Let’s face it women live more than men. They face a much heavier burden from the inheritance tax. McCain wants to drop it to 15%. Odds are you’re going to outlive your husband you might as well enjoy it.
3. Jobs – Yeah McCain isn’t big on equal pay for women, but with his robust foreign policy and openness to bringing back the draft who do you think gains? Contrary to popular opinion the most liberating times in this country for women in the workforce weren’t the 70s and 80s, they were World War I and World War II. When the men are overseas those jobs still need to get done and that means better jobs and better pay for women. If we’re in Iran next year and Russia 2 years after that, McCain will completely shatter the glass ceiling once and for all.
Let’s not allow the Democrats to distract us from what’s really important. A McCain White House will be the best thing that’s every happenned to women in this country.
McCain and Obama on Women
In an appearance before the National League of Cities and Towns in Washington D.C., McCain supposedly asked the crowd if they had heard “the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die?”
The punch line: “When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, “Where is that marvelous ape?”
I love that one. One of the reasons that John McCain is able to make comments like this and call Hillary Clinton a bitch or his wife a cunt is because John McCain is a sophisticated guy. You can actually picture him showing up at a bar in his bomber jacket and picking out the girl he’s going to sleep with that night.
Obama on the other hand is more of the President of the Chess Club type. He’s that nerd who will give a girl flowers and act really nice in front of her parents, but you know as soon as he gets her alone he’s probably a sick and perverted little twerp.
You mark my words, come November women will vote overwhelmingingly for McCain. They’ll do it because that handsome flyboy in the bomber jacket is a lot more appealing than the Chess Club geek. You have to love American women.
A Great Bunch of Gals

I recently found my blog getting links from the site www.women4mccain.com. I have to say I am impressed. These girls have their act together and I have to say they’re lookers too. Check out their site as well. Especially if you’re female. And remember if you’re an attractive conservative single woman between the ages of 21 and 27 be sure to include your email address with any comments on this blog.
Feminazis with Nothing Better to Do
The Presidential Election is shaping up as a battle between two groups of Democrat women. There are those typical liberal feminazis who will vote for Obama because he’s a Democrat and there are those women who will do what’s best for this country and vote for McCain.
McCain has promised to give a fair shake to women’s issues and this is the conductor of the straight talk express. He’s promised to nominate sensible judges like Alito, Roberts, and Thomas. In short he will be a friend to women.
Of course the feminazis go nuts over little Republican jokes like that button which they were selling at the Republican Convention in Texas or McCain fundraiser Clayton Williams’ comment comparing rape to bad weather, “As long as it’s inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it”. When the feminazis lighten up and get a sense of humor maybe they’ll see the danger they put this country in. By the way, if you like that button you can get it and a whole bunch of other great Republican merchandise at http://www.republicanmarket.com/store/home
Polls Show Obama Hurting
Recent polls showing Obama with a lead over John McCain for President may get Democratic voters all tingly with excitement, but a deeper look at the numbers beneath the numbers shows that Obama is in poor shape. The first thing that jumped out at me from the latest Rasmussen Poll is that Obama trails McCain by 18 points among Asian non-college educated women over 35 in states with at least a 12% African-American population. Perhaps even more startling is the 14 point McCain lead among gun owning Catholics in Southern States with two years or less of college education working in white collar jobs. These are important demographics that any Presidential candidate needs to win if they are going to be triumphant in the Fall election. To see Obama falling so far behind in those 2 groups is good news for McCain as we ramp up to the fall campaign.
McCain Reaching out to Clinton Supporters
Ladies, as you know Hillary has lost the Democratic primary. Its enough to make you want to eat a whole gallon of Ben and Jerry’s isn’t it? Hillary ran a very courageous campaign for a woman and you should feel pride in her accomplishment.
Recently, the McCain campaign has started to reach out to Clinton supporters and with good reason. In the ballot box your vote counts just as much as any man’s.
I’d like you to do me a favor. Pour yourself a nice glass of wine and get into your most comfortable pajamas. Then let’s go over the reasons that you should support John McCain. Women’s issues are very important to McCain so let’s talk about those issues together shall we?
Health Care: Women don’t want government bureaucrats deciding what medical care they can receive. Its your own body baby. These decisions should be made by you, your doctor, and your HMO or PPO.
National Security: Women want their children to grow up in peace and prosperity. John McCain will help achieve that peace by standing up to global jihadists in the war against terror. Your children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren will never have to fight terrorists in this country because we will be fighting them in Iraq.
Second Amendment Rights: Women don’t have the physical strength to defend themselves. That’s why John McCain is a strong advocate for gun owner rights. He’ll stand up for your right to bear arms by protecting gun makers from liability.
Education: John McCain will strengthen your children’s education by getting them out of failing public schools and into charters where the government gives corporations free reign to do what’s best for your children
Strict Constitutional Judges: Judges shouldn’t legislate from the bench. McCain will make sure that judges he appoints will be like Thomas, Roberts, and Scalia. He may be appointing up to 3 Supreme Court Justices and can really help take the courts back to a more conservative sanity. Family is the most important thing to women and John McCain will lead the fight against evils that threaten family like abortion and gay marriage
As you can see, the issues that are important to you are important to John McCain. I hope you will use this opportunity to not only vote for John, but also to donate to his campaign. If you would give the cost of just one pair of shoes to his campaign you can help John McCain hold back the tides of change and continue the conservative policies that work. You can sign up for McCain at my McCain page http://thatsrightnate.johnmccain.com/
You’ve Come a Long Way Baby
Phyllis Schlafly is being awarded an honorary doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis on May 16th. for those of you who aren’t familiar with her work, Schlafly first came to prominence with her 1964 best seller A Choice Not An Echo.
In the 1970s Schlafly was one of the voices for sanity who fought hard for issues important to women like stopping the ERA, keeping women from working in traditionally male fields, and preserving the right of married men to demand sex from their wives whenever they wish.
Even at the age of 80, Schlafly helped to write some of the socially conservative language in the 2004 Republican party platform. Dr. Schlafly we salute your courage in helping to move women into the 21st century. You’ve come a long way baby.
Women Forgetting Their Place
Life used to be so much simpler. Women had their place in the home and men had their place at work. That’s how it worked for my mom and dad and that’s how it should have worked with my ex and I. Recently, the Senate Republicans took an important step in keeping sanity between the sexes when they voted down the Ledbetter bill that would have given people OVER 6 MONTHS to show that they were the victim of sex discrimination. Frankly, as Orin Hatch pointed out this decision helped to save a bunch of naieve and trusting women from plaintiff’s attorneys who are always looking to sue employers. McCain didn’t vote on this bill because he was busy campaigning, but he hit the nail right on the head. If women wish to get the same money as men do for the same work the answer is to get more training and to go into fields like mining not to whine and complain. If this country is going to move forward we need this half of the population to do their fair share of the work.
